1. War Memorial, Dharamshala: To commemorate the memory of those that fought valiantly for the honour of their motherland, this war memorial is constructed at the entry point of the Dharamshala town. This place offers a fine and pleasant walk through the woods as it is located in the pine forest of Dharamshala.
Near the Dharamshala War Memorial there are two main attractions which are the beautiful GPG College Dharamshala and a café serving fast food and beverages. This greenish coloured Dal Lake is very quiet and calm, and the surrounding mountain range and forest of decor tree gave this lake a spectacular and eye catching view. There is also a temple of Lord Shiva can be found in the bank of the lake. This lake is just 2 km away from the main market of Kangra district and walking is the best way to reach it.
